SOP and United Nations Global Compact
Our Commitment to a Sustainable Future
SOP has chosen to join the United Nations Global Compact, the world’s largest corporate sustainability initiative. With this membership, we reaffirm our commitment to promoting responsible growth that respects people, the environment, and the communities in which we operate.
The 10 Principles That Guide Our Actions
SOP integrates these principles into its corporate strategy and daily operations, aiming to create long-term sustainable value.
The Global Compact is based on ten universal principles in the areas of:
-
Human rights
-
Labor
-
Environment
- Anti-corruption
Our commitment to human rights
SOP is committed to respecting human rights across all its activities and in its relationships with workers, customers, suppliers, partners and communities. This commitment is based on the United Nations Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights, the International Bill of Human Rights, including the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, and the International Labour Organization’s Declaration on Fundamental Principles and Rights at Work.
SOP is committed to preventing and addressing any adverse human rights impacts connected to its operations, products and services, and promotes the same principles throughout its supply chain.
