The difference between the SOP treatment and standard cultivation was visible right from the start; already within the first 3–4 days, and after 20 days the difference was striking! It was evident in the plant tillering, in the much deeper color, in the vigor, and in the clearly higher plant density!
To begin with, we decided to treat with SOP the two hectares of land most disadvantaged by slope, while we sowed the control in the lower part of the field, which is flatter and more fertile. The differences became evident as early as the tillering stage: the treated soil had a much deeper color, and the root system of the treated plants was more developed compared to the untreated ones. At harvest, we then recorded a yield per hectare that was noticeably more uniform than in previous years, even in the steeper and less fertile areas.
